Rovereto Christmas Market

In Rovereto, in the heart of the Vallagarina, a traditional Christmas market takes place from the end of November until the 7th of January

Culture always has been an important topic for Rovereto, today this is shown by numerous cultural installations and changing projects, which purport the humankind and the different world cultures. Symbol for that is the Maria Dolens Bell which was made out of bronze cannon balls from WWI and clangs 100 chimes every evening, as a memento of the fallen of all wars and the fraternity of all the peoples of the earth. These are also the features, which inspire the Christmas market in Rovereto, characterised by a magical atmosphere, Christmas music and cribs in the historic streets of the city.

The typical wooden huts offer culinary delicacies, local handicraft and gift ideas and a cup of hot mulled wine to warm you up. A Christmassy course takes you through the old town with its medieval towers, residences from the 18th century and interesting museums.
