Finding one’s balance in the thermal baths of Pejo

In the middle of the lush meadows of the Stelvio National parks, at the foot of the Dolomites and at an altitude of 1,390 metres, there are the thermal baths of Pejo. The therapeutic effect of the water has already been known in the 16th century. However, in Pejo there are even three different springs: the so-called “Fonte Alpina” (mineral-bearing), the “Antica Fonte” (ferreous mineral water) as well as “Nuova Fonte” (average carbon dioxide contents).

The thermal water of Pejo excerts a special effect on people suffering from respiratory diseases, imparied blood circulation as well as rheumatic and dermatologic diseases. Therapeutic cures include drinking cures, aerosol treatments, inhalations, balneotherapies, UVB light treatments as well as rehabilitative water treatments. Furthermore the thermal baths are equipped with a wellness facility which features a Turkish bath, an aroma bath, a health centre as well as a beauty farm with tanning department.
