Cimbrian phantasy path

Experience Bavarian fairy tales and legends in the woods of Luserna’s highlands.

From the centre of Luserna we walk along the Via Cimanora towards South, following the signposts “Sentiero dell’Immaginario”. After a very pleasant promenade with spectacular views of the Val d’Astico, we continue our tour on a wood trail, than on a forest road and afterwards again through a very beautiful wood, passing an old limekiln and a nice little wood lake.

We soon reach the Malga Campo mountain hut in the middle of a beautiful flower meadow, where we have a rest and treat ourselves with some delicious typical dishes. Afterwards we continue our tour back to the village, passing 6 points with wood carvings of legendary and fairy tale creatures and several boards telling local legends and fairy tales. An easy walking path in a wonderful landscape!
