1st Naturaid Trentino

The beautiful Valle di Ledro is venue for very special extreme MTB competition.

Maurizio Doro is the founder of the philosophy of the so-called “naturaid“, which is based on the respect of nature and the harmony with its own body, while getting the best from oneself when you’re doing an extreme race. This new form of doing sports has been put to the test at the “naturaid Marocco“, now this concept finds its way into the Trentino, where the first “naturaid Trentino“ is taking place.

In unique stage, non-stop and self-supporting, this race has to be overcome either by one single athlete or by a team. The total course includes some 15,000 metres of altitude difference as well as 400 km, the maximum time available is 60 hours. Unique stage race means that the athletes can choose when to take a break, as long as they cross the finish line within the cut-off time. Self-supporting, however, means that the athletes carry their necessary equipment, foot etc by themselves. So far there has not been a similar competition in Europe, so the Trentino is a forerunner in this field.

The course snakes across Valle di Ledro and for this reason there is much space left for visitors who can cheer for the athletes along the trails. Unique experiences both for participants and spectators are guaranteed, the extreme MTB race takes place from June 24 to 27, 2010. See you there!
