Bike and train

Cycling is one of the most popular summer activities in the Trentino, thanks not only to its fabulous cycling routes, but also to the transport service in Italian trains.

Trentino is really popular for cycling, as it offers lots of great cycling routes as well as fabulous itineraries snaking across the landscape. Another service that is offered in this region is the bike transportation on trains. In Valsugana e.g., until September 5, 2010 all 46 trains running running between Trento and Bassano guarantee the transport of 32 bicycles. Also the trains of Trento Malé Marilleva are equipped with 38 bike pounds. Between Trento and Primolano the costs for a bike transport are 1 euro.

However, the Val di Sole offers a so-called “bici card“, including the rental of a bike and the return ticket for the train. By the way, this valley offers some of the most beautiful cycling routes of the Trentino, snaking along the Noce river on a course of 34 km. See you on the train in Trentino!
