Rockmaster 2010

From July 16 to 18 there is again the famous Rockmaster climbing competition at the shores of Lake Garda. This event is a foretaste of the World Championships 2011.

One of the most important events for climbers is approaching, which is the Rockmaster climbing competition at Arco in Trentino, a real hot spot for climbers. This event is taking place from July 15 to 18 at the Climbing Stadium in the village of Prabi. The Rockmaster is one of the oldest competitions in this sports and is staged in the three disciplines difficulty, bouldering and speed.

However, not every climber is allowed to take part in this competition, as it is an event by invitation only. Some months before the event is taking place, the best male and female climbers of the world rankings are invited to take part in this event. In the Rockmaster they fight for the “rockmaster“ title. Lynn Hill, Angela Eiter, Stefan Glowacz and Francois Legrand are only some of the most succesful “rockmasters“. In addition, this year the Rockmaster is also considered to be a foretaste of the World Championships 2011, also staged in Arco at the shores of Lake Garda.
