Habsburgs’ Carnival

From February 10 to 19, Madonna di Campiglio is again venue for a great carnival event.

At the end of the 19th century, when Madonna slowly took hold as holiday resort, European noblemen and the imperial Habsburgs’ court loged in the best hotels of this resort. The empress Elizabeth and Franz Josef were probably the most famous guests who stayed in Madonna di Campiglio in these days. In Carnival this period of time comes alive and the Imperial Court of Vienna revives at Madonna di Campiglio.

Carriages, impressive historic clothes and noblemen will reign Madonna di Campiglio in carnival. As if the hands of time were turned back for several centuries, you can admire charming aristocratic women in their ball dresses.
