Refuges of Taste
Fourteen mountain huts in the Brenta Dolomites take part in the initiative „I Rifugi del Gusto“ taking place from September 20 to October 3, 2010.
If you are spending some September days in the Brenta Dolomites you have the possibility to enjoy the gastronomy and hospitality in a selection of refuges. From September 30 to October 3, a number of fourteen refuges take part in the special initiative called “The Refuges of Taste“. For this occasion, the starred cook Rinaldo Dalasso created several tastful dishes based on Trentino traditions. Of course also the best wines of the Trentino are served, such as the Teroldego Rotaliano. A complete menu including beverages is available for 20 euros, these are the dishes you can choose from:
First courses:
> Bean soup
> Vegetable soup with Trentino char DOP
> Mushroom dumplings with melted alpine dairy butter
> Potato dumplings
Main courses:
> Trentino stew
> Filets of Trentino trout DOP in potato crust
> Braised meat with Storo polenta
> Cheese board: Spressa delle Giudicarie DOP
> Trentingrana and Nostrano di malga
Desserts:
> Cake with apples of the Val di Non

> Pears with Teroldego Rotaliano
