Golf

Playing golf on rich green meadows with the mighty Dolomites towering high above

It was actually Sir Henry Cotton, one of Europe’s most outstanding golf players, who thought of this in long passed 1923 and finally designed one of Italy’s earliest golf courses: Campo Carlo Magno at 1,700 m.

Today there are numerous golf clubs spread all over the Trentino region. In addition to the above mentioned 9-holes golf course in Madonna di Campiglio (open from July to September) there is a 9-holes golf course in Seio di Sarnonico in Valled di Non (open from April to November), another in Folgaria (from May to October), a 6-holes course in Pergina/Valsugana, a 9-holes course in Val Rendena (open from March to November), another in Pieve Tesino and a 6-holes course in Canazei in Val di Fassa.
