From Daiano to Corno Nero

From the centre of Daiano in Val di Fiemme a well-marked trail takes you to mighty Monte Corno.

A not too demanding hike across high-altitude mountain sceneries with an estimated walking time of 5 hours.

- starting point in Daiano, Piazza de Gasperi
- walk towards Via Colonia
- at the crossing towards Maso Pozal continue on the trail on your right
- cross the soccer ground and continue towards Pra del Ronco
- hike towards a refuge called Malga Cugola Alta
- at the crossing near to the refuge continue north-eastwards towards Falone

After crossing a saddle and turning left at the last fork, the trail takes you to the main peak of the Corno Nero Mountain at 2,440 m. Those turning right at the last fork will reach the second peak of Corno Nero.
