Originally the municipality included some seven places: Berghi, Dollaso, Glolo, Pergnano, Prato, Busa and Senaso. In the course of time, however, the villages and hamlets became larger and larger, so that now the form one vast residential estate.

San Lorenzo in Banale is an ideal starting point for hikes across the Val d’Ambiez valley and the mountains belonging to the Brenta massif. Climbers can look forward to the “Parco degli Scoiattoli”, the “Squirrel Park”, a climbing practice area featuring a total of 38 climbing routes.

This is an outdoor climbing gym offering 38 routes of difficulty levels ranging from 5a to 8a, located in the sports zone of Promeghin. This area also offers a miniature golf course of 300 sqm with 12 pathways.
