Dimaro is located in the Val di Sole valley, at the foothills of the Brenta Dolomites and at the entrance of the Val di Meledrio valley, which leads to Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio

Dimaro is located at 766 m a.s.l., on a sunny high plateau near the Noce river, surrounded by the impressive beauty of the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park. Dimaro offers numerous free time activities.

In winter more than 60 km best prepared pistes await you in the Folgarida-Marilleva skiing area. Moreover 45 km cross-country ski-tracks are available in the Val di Sole valley which lead you through a true winter wonderland. Also in summer being active is no problem, mountain biking, rafting, walking and hiking tours are only some possibilities.

In the village centre of Dimaro several historic buildings can be found, one of them is the Saint Lawrence Church from the 15th century with its gorgeous frescoes of the Giovanni and Battista Baschenis Brothers and the altars of Giovanni Battista Ramus. More sights are the Palazzo del Dazio and some stone fountains. In the neighbouring village of Carciato the Saint John the Baptist Church is located which dates back to 1751.
