Carisolo
This popular mountain village and holiday destination is situated in the Alta Val Rendena valley at the entrance of the Val Genova valley, at the foot of Cima Lancia (2,317 m asl).

Carisolo is situated in sunny location and is perfect for those who seek relaxation and love nature. This is also a place for those who would like to spend active holidays, as there are several sport facilities like tennis courts and football fields. Other acitivities include mountain biking, fishing and ski tours. Also the popular ski resort Madonna di Campiglio is situated not far from Carisolo. The Adamello-Brenta Nature Park, however, is perfect for extended walks.
Also from a cultural point of view Carisolo has got much to offer, for instance San Nicola parish church and the small but fascinating church Santo Stefano, mentioned alredy in the 13th century and rebuilt in the 16th century. Remarkable are also the frescoes representing the life of different saints illustrated on local buildings.
