Massimeno

Massimeno is a typical alpine village situated at 1803 m in the heart of the Val Rendena. It is not only the smallest village throughout the Trentino, but also the only one that is not situated along the riverbank of the Sarca, but on a wide area that offers a views on the Val Rendena as well as on the Adamello-Brenta mountains.

Despite of the fact that Massimeno is the smallest locality of the valley, it comprises a relatively wide territory. Moreover it offers various possibilities for hikes, including easy walks as well as exhausing mountain hikes for experts.
