Rumo is the name of some nine hamlets in Val di Non valley, which once were known as the so-called “cappelle”, the Italian word for chapels: Mione, Corte Inferiore, Placeri, Marcena, Corte Superiore, Scassio, Mocenigo, Cenigo and Lanza.
Numerous buildings found all along the alleys and streets are evidence of the villages’ glorious past, from 17th century prayer chapels to lovely frescoes on several houses.
