Condino

The village with its 1,500 inhabitants is found at 450 m at the heart of the Valle del Chiese valley. Still today you can see the remains of the ancient religious administrative centre.

Definitely worth seeing is the Palazzo alla Torre. This is the seat of the local authorities, where you will also find the valuable frescoes by Marco Furri.

Condino offers numerous free time activities. What about some relaxing walks along the bank of the Chiese river? Hiking enthusiasts might embark on nice tours across the stunning surrounding mountains. In summer, still today the farmers bring their cattle and sheep up to the mountain, where they will stay for the entire season. Don’t miss the lovely autumn festivals, celebrated when the sheep and cattle return from their “summer holidays” on the mountains back to the valley again.
