Pieve di Bono

Found in Valle del Chiese, the municipality of Pieve di Bono includes a total of five quarters: Cologna, Creta, Strada, Por and Agrone.

Hiker lovers and culture enthusiasts may look forward to a number of fascinating trails. From Cologna a nice trail takes you to a former mill, from where you might hike further along the botanic nature trail to Castel Romano. What a stunning view of the entire Valle del Chiese valley!

The “Via delle Castagne”, the chestnut trail, is found in the hamlet of Strada. The interesting trail takes you to the village centre of Agrone.
The Path of Peace shows you the main sites of World War 1. In the municipality of Pieve di Bono near to Carriola, for instance, you can watch the remains of an Austrian fortress, built during World War 1 to protect the local border. But the Path of Peace takes you even further, to the Malga Ringia and the Malga Cadria.
