Praso

Praso is a typical village characterised by the typical Valli Giudicarie style

The small village of Praso has preserved its original architecture of the Valli Giudicarie valley and offers houses with shingle roofs, wooden doors with ironwork grids and stone portals. Worth seeing is the St. Peter Church from the Middle Ages. About one kilometre far away of Praso, the oldest village of the area – Sevror – is located. There the St. Rochus Church from 1530 can be found, its cupola was decorated with gorgeous frescoes in the 18th century.

In the vicinity of Praso also Forte Corno is located, an Austro-Hungarian fortification from World War I, part of the known barrier of Lardaro.
