Ragoli

Ragoli

The small but mighty village of Ragoli is located along the right Sarca riverbank and benefits from its pleasantly mild climate.

Ragoli is located at the foot of the Monte Irone and at the beginning of the Val d’Algone. For this reason it represents one of the accesses to the Adamello Brenta nature park. Holidays, hand in hand with nature.

Once upon a time Ragoli was famous for the winning of black marble that was used to built churches and steeples, such as the S. Faustino church. This church also boasts several masterpieces of the artist brothers Baschenis. Worth to be noticed are also Irone and Cerana that are not inhabited at the moment, but still today they present their original form of architecture. Beside Montagne and Preore, also Ragoli belongs to the Regole di Spinale and Marnez, an entity that administers meadows and forests in the surroundings.
