Castello Tesino

Castello Tesino is a small municipality with 1,400 inhabitants and lies in between the Picosta and Agaro mountains.

Castello Tesino has always been a popular holiday resort. Especially in the recent years, an economic upswing characterised the place, last but not least thanks to the new gondola near to Marande-Brocon.

Summer turns Castello Tesino into the ideal place for long hikes in the great outdoors, ranging from demanding climbing tours to guided hikes to the local caves and the lake; not to forget the relaxing walks along the promenades!

Every year, the village hosts an international wood-carving competition, where artists from all over the world show their skills.
