Ski area Catinaccio

This skiing area, reachable from Vigo di Fassa by cable car and from Pera by chair lifts, offers a promising panoramic view from Ciampedie meadows.

This skiing area can be reached from Vigo di Fassa by funicular as well as from Pera di Fassa by chair lift. It is particularly suitable for families with children, as it is a manageable area. Children can enjoy themselves in the baby park guided by ski instructors.

However, two ski skopes are named after two famous ski stars – Gustav Thoeni as well as Alberto Tomba, who used to exercise in this skiing area. One of the great viewpoints of the skiing area is certainly the Ciampedie, which offers a view on majestic mountains like the Torri del Vajolet, Sasso Lungo, Gruppo Sella, the Marmolada, Sasso Vernale, Cresta di Costabella, Buffaure as well as Monzoni and Vallaccia.
