Bolbeno and Bondo: small winter sports centres

Also in Valli Giudicarie you can practice winter sports. At Coste di Bolbeno for example, there is a ski slope with snowmaking equipment, which is easily accessible and which is used by different ski clubs and perfect for debutants. There is also a miniclub for children.

This valley is also perfect for cross-country skiing, ice skating and offers numerous impressive tours for ski mountaineers. Particularly suitbale for cross-country skiing is the area of Bondo, which is considered to be snow-sure and where cross-country skiing usually can be practiced until the end of the winter season. There are two cross-country ski runs: a 2 km long run is illuminated, whereas at Pracul you can find a 5 km long track.

By the way: Valle del Chiese is a popular destination for ice climbers and has repeatetly been venue for the “ice master world cup” championship.
