Folgaria Ski

The vast skiing area of Folgaria in the southern Trentino region stretches from Folgaria to the Alpe Fiorentini

The Folgaria Ski Area, which is spread over the villages of Folgaria, Serrada and Fiorentini, includes 23 blue, 17 red and 4 black slopes.

But that's far from being all, as Folgaria has much more to offer in winter. To make your wintery stay in Folgaria an adventure, there is also the snow park Mazinga, two cross-country ski centres, Passo Coe and Forte Cherle, which is ideal for beginners, as well as sledge runs and the popular ice stadium.

Still today several spots in the skiing area remind that this high plateau used to be a battle area in WWI. The ancient fortresses of the Austrians and Italians make the winter landscape even more special. For this reason the ski compound of Folgaria and Lavarone is also called "Ski tour dei Forti“, which means ski tour of fortresses.
