Molina di Fiemme
The mills driven by the waters of Avisio river, gave the village of Molina di Fiemme its name.
Molina is, besides Castello, Predaia and Stramentizzo, one of four localities that make up the municipality of Castello-Molino di Fiemme. The two main localities of Molina and Castello are only 2 chilometres distant.
Molina is located on the right side of the Avisio river. The locality is characterised by the Val di Fiemme style. Another distinctive feature are the roofs of the buildings, made of ceramic-like bricks manufactured in the local brickworks.
The parish church, located in the higher part of the village, was built in 1852 and is consecrated to S. Antonio from Padova.
In every season, Molina has got much to offer: in winter there are cross-country ski tracks which are also connected to other tracks of the valley. In summer, However, you are spoilt for choice, as there is a huge variety of hiking trails!
